Telkom’s fibre offerings are now cheaper than its ADSL

Telkom’s current Fibre-To-The-Home (FTTH) offerings are now cheaper than its ADSL.

The biggest reason for the discrepancy is obvious: FTTH products don’t require any forced analogue line rental.

This has resulted in calls from major ISPs like Web Africa and MWEB for Telkom to offer a “naked ADSl” option which will hoepfully reduce costs and result in a larger uptake.
